Step into the Bright Lights of Volunteering!
This fall, the curtain will rise once again to musical performances, theatre performances, and a host of great events at the Attucks and to pull it off, we’ll need volunteers! Volunteers are an integral part of the excitement surrounding the Attucks Theatre and as part of our “Ambassador of Goodwill” team, not only do volunteers have the opportunity for personal satisfaction and enjoyment, they also provide our guests with a unique educational and entertainment experience. A variety of volunteer positions are available including ushers, ticket takers, administrative assistants, historical interpreters and tour guides. From teens to adults, a volunteer’s experience, enthusiasm and diversity are an invaluable resource for the Attucks now and into the future. Get involved and join our Ambassador team!

The Attucks Theatre's 2006-2007 performance season has begun and as we move forward, we will need volunteers! Volunteers play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Attucks and are essential to the success of our theatre.

Fall Volunteer Orientation is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th 10:00 - 12:00 pm.
(Registration will begin at 9:30am) This training session is mandatory for all applicants on file. Volunteers are admitted to the program following an orientation session, during which theatre policies and procedures will be thoroughly reviewed and explained. Tours of the theatre and distribution of the volunteer manual will also occur at the orientation class. It is with the support and efforts of the volunteers that the Attucks Theatre will thrive as the premiere Hampton Roads performing arts venue.
